DXF is a format that you can open, in cuttable format, in the standard version of Silhouette Studio. From here forward I will be posting my files in both SVG and DXF format so my Silhouette friends that use the standard version of Studio can cut them as well. I've been looking for something like this for a while and am glad I found it. It feels like a Photoshop for graphic vinyl. Its tool options are really expansive and surprised me when I opened up the application for the first time. There are some file conversion tools, too, if a file you have isn't working. It even has auto-fill for laser and diamond engraving. You can tweak anything from where the vinyl will cut pressure wise, to how your logo looks. There are multiple features for editing the specific graphics you've created. The program itself is obvious and easy to use. It's also compatible with a bunch of different file types and can help you vector and rasterize your logos. You don't have to worry about it not being able to be printed on your specific machine. I recently just made a flower design decal and was able to get it produced the same day! Easy Cut Studio is compatible with a variety of different vinyl cutters and plotters. I'm blown away with how easy yet professional it is. You can even scan in an image directly into the program. It's amazing how simple they've made this software.
